Whatever the bank gives you, it reads.
A reconciliation tool is only as good as the files it accepts. Bank Reconciler takes CSV exports from any bank or accounting platform, reads PDF statements through its own converter, and can pull the books straight from your accounting platform.
- CSV from anywhereDate, description and amount columns are detected for you, with a manual remap if a bank labels them oddly. Excel exports are saved as CSV first, and up to 12 CSVs can be merged on each side.
- Any number format−50, (50) and 50 DR all read as the same outgoing amount. Currency symbols and thousands separators are stripped.
- 20+ date formatsIncluding UK DD/MM/YYYY and US MM/DD/YYYY, told apart from the file itself.
- PDF statementsThe bank statement converter turns digital PDFs, scans and phone photos into a clean CSV, with no per-bank template.
- Bulk PDF modeConvert a stack of monthly PDF statements in one go.
- Export steps for your bankThe tool shows how to download a CSV from your bank, or from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and other platforms, step by step.
- Straight from the booksConnect Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Pandle, FreeAgent or YNAB, pick the account and the dates, and skip the export.
Field-tested on statements from the banks UK businesses use most. Because the parser needs no template, it also reads formats it has never seen.
